SAP BASIS Consultant

Primary Responsibilities:

• A typical day as an Infoscion
• In your role with the Infosys consulting team, your main focus will be to delve into customer challenges, identify problematic areas, devise innovative solutions, and facilitate implementation, ultimately ensuring customer satisfaction.
• You will take ownership of segments of the proposal document, contributing your insights into solution design based on your areas of expertise.
• Your responsibilities will include planning configuration activities, configuring the product according to design specifications, conducting conference room pilots, and addressing any inquiries related to requirements and solution design.
• You will perform product demonstrations, lead Proof of Concept (POC) workshops, and prepare effort estimates that align with customer budgetary needs while adhering to the organization’s financial policies.
• Take the lead on small projects and actively contribute to unit-level and organizational goals, aiming to provide high-quality, value-driven solutions to clients.

Technical Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration
• At least 1 full life cycle experience in SAP Basis implementation, migration, or upgrade
• Proficient in monitoring and maintaining various SAP system environments, including Sandbox, Development, QA, Production, and DR
• Expertise in installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting multiple SAP landscapes and third-party tools
• Capable of performing essential Basis functions such as system refresh, support packs, kernel upgrades, transports, and DR drills
• Conduct research and implement solutions to enhance Basis functionality focused on performance monitoring and tuning
• Contribute to the architectural design of SAP systems
• Thorough knowledge of the complete SAP Solution Manager business suite
• Experience with SAP HANA OS DB migrations and cloud technologies
• Familiarity with global delivery models, including offshore and multicultural teams, functional teams, and other stakeholders
• SAP certification is a plus
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment
• Project management experience is required
