RGM - Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

• PRIMARY DUTIES
• Conceptualize, research, design, and implement AI/ML applications at scale to deliver quantifiable value.
• Create comprehensive AI/ML solutions by developing, refining, customizing, and deploying cutting-edge Machine Learning algorithms and models.
• Engage in the design, development, and research of Machine Learning systems, models, and schemas through data science and data analytics prototypes.
• Pursue continuous learning and relevant certifications.
• Adopt an incubation mindset focused on research, with the ability to quickly deliver proof of concepts and generate innovative ideas.
• Exhibit strong communication and documentation skills to share knowledge effectively, conduct presentations, engage with clients and stakeholders, and produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills with a technical depth in addressing real-world challenges while considering business imperatives.

Technical Requirements:

• ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models on hyperscale platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or Databricks, focusing on large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.
• Expertise in implementing Generative AI models for business applications, with experience in Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, or open-source models.
• Proficient in Python programming with a strong emphasis on robust coding practices.
• Ability to develop a framework or generic pipeline for retrieving, optimizing, and deploying open-source models.
• Explore and create a reference architecture for building virtual assistants utilizing foundational models.
• Familiarity with deep learning and machine learning frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with HuggingFace Transformers and libraries including scikit-learn, spaCy, Gensim, and CoreNLP.
• WORKING KNOWLEDGE
• Understanding of large language models (LLMs) and Generative AI, particularly in the context of text and image analysis and training.
• Experience in fine-tuning LLMs, implementing AI guardrails, and applying Responsible AI frameworks, including explainability, bias detection, and hallucination control.
• Familiarity with implementing LangChain frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Linux and HTTP REST.
• Proficient in cloud technologies, specifically at least one of GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
