Embedded Software Integrator

Job Overview:

• We are in search of an Embedded Software Integrator to facilitate the development and integration of Embedded Linux-based Digital TV and Set Top Box (STB) platforms.
• This position entails managing software integration platform upgrades, debugging, and collaboration across various teams.

Primary Duties:

• Integrate and sustain software for STB and Digital TV platforms.
• Assist with new hardware deployment and ongoing platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with CI/CD teams to ensure build reliability.
• Conduct bug triage, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Facilitate security updates, monitor CVEs, and enhance system security.
• Partner closely with development, QA, delivery teams, and external vendors.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Experience in STB development or integration.
• Familiarity with the Yocto build system.
• Knowledge of RDK or Embedded Linux.
• Experience with Git for version control.

Additional Qualifications:

• Preferred Skills
• Shell or Python scripting abilities.
• Experience with Embedded Linux platforms.
• Understanding of STB Digital TV systems.
• Strong skills in debugging and integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and build automation systems.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
