Performance Testing - Bangalore

• 6+ years of Performance Testing/Monitoring experience for Web Applications using JMeter

• Strong proficiency in scripting techniques; develop custom code to enhance and customize performance testing scripts and scenarios using JMeter where applicable

• Good knowledge of networking concepts and cutting-edge technologies

• Excellent Linux fundamentals and a solid understanding of how to diagnose system utilization

• Experience working within Agile methodologies

• Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence others

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for performance testing

• Experience in developing performance test frameworks and automating testing activities

• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and large data volumes

• Experience with some of the following technologies and services:

• Cloud-based Infrastructure as a Service (especially Azure)

• Container-based service schedulers (e.g., Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, etc.)

• MySQL, Java, Python

• Performance testing tools (Jmeter)

• Log management tools (Splunk)

• APM tools (Prometheus, Dynatrace, Datadog, )

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose performance issues and propose effective solutions.

• Ability to take on additional responsibilities and mandates such as Chaos Engineering and Observability, towards transitioning to an SRE role.

• Ability to define data strategy and collaborate with the Test Data Management team to generate on-demand data.

• Expertise in adopting in-house client-side performance testing tools such as UX Engine to measure end-user experience, where applicable.

• Experience developing Virtual Services using Mountebank to meet all performance testing requirements.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and technology/business stakeholders.
