Pega lead Business Architect

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pega Developer with a robust foundation in low-code application development and front-end technologies to become part of our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in Pega development, along with proficiency in Angular for front-end tasks and Java or other backend programming languages. This position will entail the development, enhancement, and maintenance of applications utilizing Pega and other pertinent technologies, contributing to a high-performing Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pega Development: Architect, develop, and deploy applications within the Pega platform, engaging in all stages of the project development lifecycle.
• Front-End Development: Leverage Angular to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that elevate user experience.
• Backend Integration: Collaborate on backend development using Java, Python, or Node.js as required for comprehensive solutions.
• Version Control: Employ Git for version control, ensuring robust and secure code management practices.
• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• CI/CD & Cloud Integration: Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment processes and engage with cloud services such as AWS or GCP for scalable applications.
• Containerization & Serverless Frameworks: Implement Docker and other container technologies, as well as serverless frameworks, to enhance application performance.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Use tools like Figma to wireframe and prototype applications, ensuring clear communication of design concepts.
• Unit Testing: Conduct unit testing to maintain code quality and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Core Skills:
• Extensive experience with Pega (primary skill), including hands-on involvement in at least one complete project development lifecycle.
• Pega certification(s) are preferred for enhanced consideration.
• Additional Skills:
• Proficiency in Angular for front-end development.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Other Skills:
• Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Proficient in version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of Docker, serverless frameworks, and low-code development tools.
• Experience with wireframing/prototyping tools like Figma.
• Testing & Development Practices: Understanding of unit testing and software development best practices.
