Your Role And Responsibilities

In the capacity of a Package Consultant for SAP HANA SCM GTS, you will facilitate business stakeholders in the design and functional deployment of SAP Global Trade Services, enabling compliant and efficient international trade operations. This position entails spearheading solution delivery, collaborating with stakeholders, and leveraging your expertise in trade compliance and customs regulations.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Process Design Development: Converting trade compliance and customs regulations into scalable process designs, encompassing sanctioned-party screening, embargo/legal control, and license determination.
• Solution Implementation: Configuring GTS objects, outlining comprehensive process flows, and ensuring seamless integration with S/4HANA and other systems.
• Test Strategy Development: Leading the development of test strategies, including unit, SIT, and UAT testing, to guarantee solution quality and efficiency.
• Data Migration Management: Overseeing data migration, which includes business partner and ship-to data, classifications, licenses, and preferences, to aid in solution implementation.
• User Enablement Support: Facilitating user enablement, embedding controls for auditability, and promoting measurable risk reduction through solution delivery.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Trade Compliance Knowledge: Proficient in transforming trade compliance and customs regulations into scalable process designs, including sanctioned-party screening, embargo/legal control, and license determination.
• Solution Configuration: Skilled in configuring GTS objects such as legal regulations, control classes, and business partners to facilitate cross-border trade operations.
• Integration Expertise: Experienced in ensuring effective integration with S/4HANA SD/MM, EWM/TM, and external customs brokers/content providers.
• Test Strategy Development: Proficient in formulating test strategies, including unit, SIT, and UAT testing, to ensure solution quality and effectiveness.
• Data Migration Management: Experienced in managing data migration, covering business partner and ship-to data, classifications, licenses, and preferences, to support solution implementation.

• Technical Integration Skills: Familiarity with integrating GTS with other SAP systems, such as S/4HANA, EWM, and TM, to enhance cross-border trade operations.
• Data Management Tools: Knowledge of data migration tools and methodologies to support business partner and ship-to data, classifications, licenses, and preferences.
• Audit Controls Knowledge: Understanding of auditability controls, including recordkeeping, electronic archives, and dual-use controls, to achieve measurable risk reduction.
