Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and launch applications utilizing the OutSystems platform to enhance business workflows and processes.
Engage with business stakeholders to collect and analyze requirements, converting them into technical specifications and user stories.
Tailor and configure OutSystems components, modules, and integrations to fulfill project goals and specifications.
Create and implement data models, business logic, and user interfaces employing OutSystems visual development tools and industry best practices.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to guarantee application quality and reliability.
Collaborate closely with quality assurance and testing teams to confirm the functionality, performance, and security of applications.
Offer technical guidance and support to junior developers and project team members.
Remain updated on industry trends, best practices, and the latest features of the OutSystems platform.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
Demonstrated experience as an OutSystems Developer, with a minimum of 5-7 years of practical experience in application development using the OutSystems platform.
Comprehensive understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and practices.
Expertise in OutSystems platform features, including visual modeling, logic flows, data modeling, and user interface design.
Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and database design principles.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a talent for analyzing complex business requirements and designing scalable solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
OutSystems certifications (e.g., Associate Developer, Professional Developer) are advantageous.
Prior experience in a leadership or senior developer capacity.
Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Experience with integrating external APIs and services in OutSystems.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and performance optimization techniques.
