Mainframe Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Key Responsibilities
• Design develop test and maintain Mainframe applications
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions
• Develop and enhance applications using COBOL JCL CICS and DB2
• Perform code reviews debugging and performance tuning
• Support batch job execution monitoring and issue resolution
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Coordinate with business users testing teams and stakeholders
• Participate in application maintenance enhancements and support activities
• Prepare technical documentation and follow development standards
• Support application deployments and release activities
• Minimum Qualifications
• 5 to 9 years of experience in Mainframe application development
• Strong experience in COBOL JCL CICS and DB2
• Hands on experience with VSAM and TSO ISPF
• Experience in application development maintenance and support
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle SDLC
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with IMS DB DC
• Knowledge of MQ Series IBM MQ
• Hands on experience with Endevor Changeman and File AID
• Experience with Control M and batch scheduling tools
• Production Support and Incident Management experience
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to Mainframe modernization projects
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing tools
