Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Lineman to become a part of our team in India. The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience in electrical line operations, emphasizing the installation, maintenance, and repair of power lines. A strong dedication to safety and high-quality service delivery is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair both overhead and underground power lines.
• Adhere to safety regulations and standards while executing tasks.
• Perform routine inspections on power lines and equipment to detect potential issues or maintenance requirements.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and team members to enhance electrical systems.
• Swiftly and efficiently respond to emergency repair calls and outages.
• Keep detailed documentation of work completed and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4-10 years of experience in electrical line work or a related field.
• Certification in electrical safety and lineman training programs.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and power distribution.
• Proficiency in handling tools and equipment necessary for line installation and upkeep.
• Capability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead lines; including climbing, stringing, sagging, and emergency restoration while ensuring safe work zones.
• Experience with OHL maintenance.
• Possession of a NEDC Approved Lineman (ALM) License is required.
