Electrical Technician - Maintenance / Fuse Call

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to become a part of our maintenance team in India. The ideal candidate will be tasked with conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing issues within electrical systems, and addressing fuse calls to guarantee the safe and effective operation of our machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting for electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to fuse call incidents and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Assist in the installation and testing of electrical systems and their components.
• Keep precise records of maintenance activities and repairs conducted.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a comparable position.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Proficient in utilizing electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance.
• Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of MV/LV networks, transformers, cables, RMUs; including isolation and earthing; testing and reporting. Free22 distribution system maintenance experience.
• NEDC CEP authorization is required.
