Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cable Jointer to become a part of our esteemed team in India. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical installations, particularly in cable jointing. This position entails the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical cable systems to guarantee their safe and dependable performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain both underground and overhead electrical cable systems.
• Execute cable jointing and termination for various cable types, including XLPE, PVC, and EPR.
• Perform testing on cable installations to verify quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Identify and resolve faults in electrical cable systems utilizing the necessary tools and techniques.
• Work in collaboration with project managers and engineers to ensure installations are completed within project timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in cable jointing and electrical installations.
• Proficient in operating cable jointing tools and equipment.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and safety regulations.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Preferred certification in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in LV/MV cable jointing and terminations, fault repair, testing, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Experience with up to 33kV cable joints and terminations.
• Possession of a Raychem Jointer Certificate is required.
