Laser Application / Field Service Engineer

Job Overview

• Oversee and implement laser material processing initiatives, which involves engaging with customers, assessing technical specifications, preparing and processing client applications, drafting reports, and maintaining follow-up communication with clients;
• Facilitate client visits and interact directly with customers regarding applications and technology; guide customers on process and product specifics to enhance their engagement.
• Assist Regional Sales Managers with key applications and strategic initiatives, which may include off-site customer visits;
• Lead the operations of the Laser Application Laboratory in Singapore, including reviewing equipment requirements and ensuring that laboratory machinery is kept in optimal working condition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering field;
• Over 5 years of experience in laser marking, welding, cutting, and other material processing techniques;
• Exhibit a keen attention to detail with the capability to prioritize tasks and maintain focus in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting;
• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Willingness to travel (domestic and international) to customer locations (approximately 25% of the time);
• Background in electronics applications is advantageous.
