IT & Data Solution Architect (P2P)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the comprehensive solution architecture for Procure to Pay (P2P) and Source to Pay (S2P) platforms, ensuring that solutions are both scalable and sustainable.
• Design and manage architecture across the Coupa, SAP MM, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA ecosystems.
• Establish enterprise integration strategies to guarantee seamless connectivity between SAP ERP procurement platforms, finance systems, analytics platforms, and external applications.
• Architect and supervise API, Web Services, MuleSoft, IDoc, and middleware-based integrations throughout the P2P landscape.
• Partner with Enterprise Architects to ensure solution designs comply with enterprise architecture standards and technology roadmaps.
• Assess technical feasibility, evaluate solution alternatives, and select technology options to meet business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction to development, implementation, and support teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure the architectural integrity of procurement, sourcing, category management, supplier management, invoicing, and payment processes.
• Facilitate collaboration among business stakeholders, procurement teams, finance teams, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Define and manage data flows, interface mappings, integration patterns, and system dependencies across interconnected platforms.
• Monitor solution quality, system performance, data integrity, security, and compliance within the P2P ecosystem.
• Review and authorize technical designs, architecture documentation, and solution blueprints.
• Lead stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and convert business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Initiate continuous improvement efforts to boost platform efficiency, process automation, and operational effectiveness.
• Identify technical risks, integration challenges, and performance bottlenecks, implementing strategies for mitigation.
• Support Agile delivery teams by providing architectural governance and ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
• Collaborate with global teams and vendors to execute enterprise-scale procurement and finance transformation initiatives.
• Maintain thorough architecture documentation, technical standards, and solution governance artifacts.

Technical Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Procure to Pay (P2P) and Source to Pay (S2P) process architecture.
• Proficiency in Coupa platform architecture, implementation, and integrations.
• Strong functional and technical expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management).
• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Hands-on expertise in designing enterprise integration architectures.
• Deep understanding of API-based integrations, Web Services, and middleware solutions.
• Experience with MuleSoft, IDocs, Solace, and SAP integration frameworks.
• Expertise in integrating Coupa with SAP ERP, finance systems, analytics platforms, and external applications.
• Knowledge of data flows, interface mapping, and system integration patterns.
• Experience in creating scalable solution architectures and technical blueprints.
• Strong grasp of enterprise architecture principles and governance frameworks.
• Experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Vendor Management processes.
• Able to lead technical design reviews, architecture governance, and solution quality assurance.
• Experience in Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leading global teams and collaborating with European stakeholders in CET time zones.
• Capable of providing technical leadership across implementation, deployment, and support lifecycles.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement mindset.
