Job Description
This position, reporting directly to the Global CFO and acting as an integral member of the APAC leadership team, will oversee the regional finance organization spanning various countries and divisions. This role has progressed beyond conventional financial controllership, focusing on being a strategic finance leadership position that supports business expansion, operational excellence, and finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the finance function across APAC regions, offering both strategic direction and operational assistance.
- Work closely with regional commercial and operational leaders to enhance business performance and ensure profitable growth.
- Create a comprehensive regional finance framework encompassing planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management.
- Assist in integration efforts for acquired businesses, maintaining consistent processes, controls, and governance.
- Lead finance transformation projects aimed at increasing efficiency, transparency, and decision-making capabilities.
- Deliver commercial insights and suggestions related to pricing strategies, margin enhancement, cost reduction, and investment decisions.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning across various jurisdictions.
- Improve working capital management, cash flow oversight, and financial discipline within the organization.
- Encourage collaboration among country finance teams and cultivate a high-performing regional finance organization.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance leader with a background in navigating the complexities of a multi-country industrial landscape. You blend strategic insight with a hands-on approach and are adept at managing both executive discussions and operational execution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, complemented by a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology, or similar fields.
- Proven experience leading finance teams across various APAC markets.
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in supporting organizational transformations, acquisitions, or integration efforts.
- Robust understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain finance, and cost management practices.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to excel in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
- Proactive leadership style with a self-motivated approach.
