Job Description:

• Infosys Consulting, the management consulting division of Infosys, seeks to recruit a Data Engineer
• Ideal candidates should possess 3 to 10 years of experience in Data Engineering
• Successful applicants will join a specialized, customer-centric Advanced Analytics team within our rapidly growing Automation and Artificial Intelligence Consulting Practice
• Collaboration with AI Consultants and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will be essential to define and implement top-tier solutions
• The role demands an entrepreneurial spirit, inspired by excellence in execution, along with robust design capabilities to create client deliverables and proposal documents. Candidates should be highly analytical, emotionally intelligent, and a collaborative team member, driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact

Key Responsibilities:

• Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling you to establish productive and enduring working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Lead the design of data pipelines, employing strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail to effectively understand and address the challenges faced by businesses
• You will engage with a wide array of Data Engineering tools and emerging technologies, along with various IT compliance and security-related matters
• Design and develop cutting-edge technology solutions to address business challenges across multiple client projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business needs, client infrastructure, and overall strategies to ensure smooth transitions
• Work in close partnership with AI and Advanced Analytics teams to create exemplary solutions and to define AI strategies
• Possess strong logical structuring and problem-solving abilities, along with expert-level understanding of databases and a natural inclination to convert data into actionable insights
• Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

Technical Requirements:

• Proficient in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Brick, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake Storage Analytics, and Azure Database Migration Services
• Experience with DevOps and Continuous Deployment (CD) tools
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Additional Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with REST APIs
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and GIT for code management
• Comfortable working within Agile project frameworks
