*Senior D365 ERP F&O Solutions Architect*

*Position Overview*

We are in search of an exceptionally skilled and forward-thinking Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP Finance & Operations (F&O) Solutions Architect to spearhead our enterprise-level digital transformation projects. With over 15 years of extensive industry experience, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design, architecture, governance, and execution of robust, scalable, and high-performance ERP solutions.

This role, based in Batu Gajah, Perak, Malaysia, presents a unique opportunity to lead strategic implementations within complex business environments, such as heavy manufacturing, engineering, or logistics, effectively aligning advanced technology with organizational goals.

*Key Responsibilities*

Solution Architecture & Governance

• Oversee the comprehensive architectural design of D365 F&O solutions, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards, scalability, and industry best practices.

• Develop solid architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and system integration strategies.

• Establish development guidelines, code review processes, and governance frameworks to uphold high-quality system implementations.

• Define and manage the overall environment topology, release management strategy, and deployment pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).

Technical & Functional Leadership

• Serve as the principal technical authority for intricate D365 F&O issues, resolving critical performance bottlenecks, data integrity challenges, and architectural discrepancies.

• Act as a liaison between business requirements and technical execution, converting complex functional needs into streamlined technical solutions.

• Mentor, guide, and manage teams of technical developers, functional analysts, and systems integrators.

• Encourage the adoption of modern practices, including the integration of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure services.

Integration & Data Migration Strategy

• Design seamless integration solutions that connect D365 F&O with third-party legacy applications, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), PLM, WMS, and external APIs.

• Develop comprehensive data migration strategies, including ETL pipelines, data validation, and historical data reconciliation frameworks.

• Implement high-capacity data architectures leveraging D365 Data Management Framework (DMF), OData, BYOD (Bring Your Own Database), and Azure Data Lake storage.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, steering committees, and business unit leaders, clearly articulating technical risks, timelines, and architectural trade-offs.

• Conduct feasibility assessments and Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBA) for requested customizations compared to standard product capabilities.

• Support change management and business process engineering efforts to ensure users fully leverage the capabilities of standard D365 features.

*Essential Skills & Qualifications*

*Technical Expertise*

• D365 Core Development: Advanced proficiency in X++, C#, .NET, and SQL Server.

• Microsoft Cloud Stack: In-depth understanding of Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management) and Microsoft Power Platform.

• LCS & ALM: Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment administration, diagnostic tools, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

• Security & Compliance: Strong familiarity with D365 security role design, licensing compliance, and data privacy regulations.

*Functional & Domain Expertise*

• Supply Chain Management (SCM): Inventory, Procurement, Sourcing, Warehousing, and Logistics.

• Manufacturing: Experience in Discrete and Process manufacturing, Production Control, and Capacity Planning.

• Finance: Knowledge of General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Management, Costing, and Localized Tax compliance in Malaysia.

• Experience with large-scale industrial, engineering, or manufacturing enterprise operations is highly desirable.

Professional & Interpersonal Skills

• Demonstrated success in leading at least 3-4 full lifecycle, multi-phase global implementations of D365 F&O as a Lead/Principal Architect.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a talent for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.

• Proficient command of English (both written and spoken).
