Job Description

• Perform thorough credit and fundamental financial analysis to evaluate financial performance, creditworthiness, cash flows and the risks inherent in underlying transactions.
• Review and evaluate a range of asset classes, including listed equities, bonds, derivatives, structured products and real estate, with a focus on their suitability and value as financing collateral.
• Work alongside senior credit professionals to support the structuring of financing transactions, assess deal terms, prepare credit proposals and deliver recommendations to the Credit Committee.
• Assist in the review of financing and security documentation, ensuring alignment with internal credit policies, applicable regulations and risk management requirements.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably with collateral-backed lending, structured financing, or assessment of financial assets.
• Strong accounting and fundamental financial analysis capability, including the ability to assess financial statements, creditworthiness and underlying transaction risks.
• Familiarity with financial instruments and asset classes, covering equities, bonds, derivatives, structured products and real estate; experience in asset valuation is advantageous.
• Practical credit judgement and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex financing transactions, clearly present risk assessments and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
