Cognos TM1

Job Overview:

• We are looking for a skilled IBM Planning Analytics TM1 Developer with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the design, modeling, development, and support of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions utilizing IBM Planning Analytics Cognos TM1.
• The successful applicant will demonstrate strong technical capabilities in TM1 development, performance optimization, security implementation, reporting, and business analytics.
• Candidates with two years of experience must confirm completion of either MCOM or CA before applying.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain EPM applications utilizing IBM Planning Analytics TM1.
• Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions and create Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
• Develop and maintain TM1 models, cubes, dimensions, rules, feeders, Turbo Integrator (TI) processes, and chore automation.
• Engage in advanced TM1 development, including troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Design and implement TM1 security models, covering user groups, application security, and object-level access controls.
• Create reporting and dashboard solutions using:
• Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW)
• Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX)
• Planning Analytics Web (PAW Web)
• Active Forms
• Facilitate data integration from various source systems using TI processes.
• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to quickly demonstrate business solutions.
• Assist in application deployment, testing, user training, and production support activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, business users, architects, and support teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Technical Qualifications:
