CISNGE - ITOM Event Management Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary duties
• Execution and enhancement of ServiceNow Event Management, encompassing Event Rules, Alert Rules, Impact Mapping, and integrations with the CMDB
• Craft and uphold integrations with various event sources, such as
• e
• g
• Dynatrace, Microsoft SCOM, etc.
• utilizing MID Servers, APIs, and connectors
• Develop and enhance alert correlation logic along with actionable notifications to aid IT operations
• Work in conjunction with Incident, Problem, and Change Management teams to guarantee smooth process alignment
• Create monitoring dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms for effective event and alert management
• Promote the utilization of Service Operations Workspace while improving user experience
• Assist in automating event responses through ServiceNow Orchestration and playbooks
• Deliver SME-level support, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancement of the Event Management capability
• Ensure synchronization with ITOM, AIOps, and CMDB strategies for comprehensive IT visibility
• Maintain thorough documentation, including architecture diagrams, knowledge articles, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Extensive knowledge of integrating monitoring tools, such as
• e
• g
• Dynatrace and SCOM, with ServiceNow
• Deep understanding of the CMDB data model and Service Mapping principles
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting MID Servers
• Expertise in ServiceNow components including Event Rules, Alert Rules, Impact Mapping, and Service Operations Workspace
• Familiarity with ITIL processes encompassing Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Event Management
• Experience with AIOps, Predictive Intelligence, and automated remediation workflows
• Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools, including

• g
• Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and PowerShell scripts
• Experience in large-scale enterprise settings with intricate IT ecosystems
