BigCommerce Senior Developer

As a BigCommerce Senior Developer, you will:

● Design, build, and improve BigCommerce-based B2B eCommerce solutions, including custom pricing, customer account management, and multi-tier user role capabilities.

● Deliver sophisticated B2B features such as bulk ordering, reordering, and request-for-quote (RFQ) workflows.

● Provide hands-on expertise in tailoring the checkout experience and strengthening payment functionality.

● Manage and support integrations with shipping providers.

● Tailor B2B-oriented business workflows, including tax exemption handling, volume discounts, and credit limit controls.

● Develop reliable integrations using BigCommerce APIs, webhooks, and GraphQL to ensure smooth and consistent data exchange.

● Work on headless BigCommerce implementations and ensure effective integration with CMS platforms or custom front-end solutions.

● Operate within an agile environment by committing to estimates and delivering within fixed sprints.

● Partner with technical leads and solution architects on integration-related activities involving other systems.

● Should have support experience—understanding the end-to-end process—and hands-on experience supporting BigCommerce B2B applications.

Skills & Abilities

· · Any Degree with strong fundamentals and problem-solving skills.

· Strong proficiency with the BigCommerce platform, including the Stencil framework, Storefront APIs, and the BigCommerce Admin API.

· Hands-on experience implementing B2B functionalities such as customer groups, advanced pricing rules, and catalog segmentation.

· Knowledge of capabilities including multi-user accounts, role-based permissions, and advanced reporting for B2B buyers.

· Understanding of B2B payment methods, shipping methods, and tax compliance requirements.

· Expertise in front-end development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks such as React.

· Proficiency in server-side technologies like Node.js is a plus.

· Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Salesforce and SAP.

· Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support multiple projects at the same time.

· The capability and motivation to research and resolve problems.

· Excellent communication skills.
