Azure Networking Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• This position necessitates a robust technical expertise in Azure's compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and governance services. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure a resilient, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.
• The Azure Engineer is pivotal in facilitating cloud adoption, advancing infrastructure modernization projects, and sustaining the overall health and stability of the organization’s Azure environment.
• Maintain the integrity and performance of cloud services through proactive monitoring, Terraform-based infrastructure management, Azure platform administration, and the effective delivery of cloud infrastructure solutions that empower business and application teams to function securely and efficiently.
• Provide vital operational support for Azure-hosted services, ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of essential business platforms.
• With dedicated oversight of these tasks, operational incidents will experience improved resolution times, reduced service risk, and a lower likelihood of business interruptions.
• Responsible for driving the identification, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across the Azure environment, effectively minimizing organizational risk and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Facilitates critical project delivery, supports enterprise initiatives, and ensures Azure services are secure, optimized, and aligned with business objectives.

Technical Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Azure cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in Azure technologies, including but not limited to backup and restore, ASR, Network NSG troubleshooting, and operational logging.
• Experience in designing Azure networks, encompassing NSG, Gateway, Firewalls, Subnets, and Vnets.
• Strong understanding of Azure security constructs.
• Proven experience in supporting production deployments within Azure.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Azure coding technologies such as CLI, PowerShell, and ARM.
• Experience with Terraform deployments utilizing Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Collaborative experience working with teams to deliver comprehensive Azure solutions across security, operations, engineering, and application teams.
• Current Azure Administrator Certification.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in software support or development.
• Experience within the banking or financial services sector.
• Azure Architect Certification.
