Automation test engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable automation testing frameworks utilizing Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Create, execute, and manage automated test scripts for web-based applications
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
• Evaluate test outcomes, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for effective issue resolution
• Formulate and uphold test plans, test cases, and test data
• Integrate automation testing suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab
• Execute API testing with tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Produce test execution reports and quality metrics
• Ensure compliance with software testing best practices and quality assurance standards
