Technical Lead

Job Summary

This hybrid Technical Lead position calls for six to ten years of experience with Java Sprint Boot and Net Java, along with a solid background in the cards and payments domain. The role is centered on architecting scalable payment solutions, directing technical implementation, and safeguarding secure transaction processing. You will partner with cross functional teams during day shifts to deliver dependable services that promote financial inclusion and enable smooth digital commerce.

Responsibilities

• Own end to end design and implementation of payment services using Java Sprint Boot and Net Java, ensuring stability security and performance across all core transaction flows
• Translate complex cards and payments business requirements into clear technical solutions that support seamless customer experiences and dependable transaction processing
• Deliver technical mentorship to the development team on code structuring best practices and reusable component development to enable scalable payment platforms
• Drive continuous enhancement of payment processing systems by reviewing transaction patterns, pinpointing bottlenecks, and proposing focused optimizations
• Work closely with product owners business analysts and quality assurance experts to ensure technical deliverables meet regulatory compliance and applicable industry standards for cards and payments
• Maintain strict adherence to secure coding practices and data protection controls to protect cardholder information and lower operational and financial risk
• Lead defect triage and conduct root cause analysis for production incidents in payment services, then implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Partner with infrastructure and operations teams in a hybrid work model to enable reliable deployments, performance tuning, and environment readiness for day to day payment operations
• Support the implementation of integration methods with external networks issuers acquirers and internal banking systems to preserve high reliability and interoperability across transaction flows
• Review technical documentation, including solution designs interface contracts, and deployment procedures, to ensure clear communication and maintainable systems
• Assist with mentoring team members by sharing domain expertise in cards and payments and modern engineering practices to strengthen overall technical capability
• Participate in architectural discussions on microservices event driven patterns and resilience strategies that improve the long term evolution of payment platforms
• Improve quality results by encouraging thorough unit integration and regression testing practices to increase reliability across payment journeys

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java Sprint Boot and Net based application development, with hands on experience building enterprise grade payment services
• Show in depth understanding of cards and payments domain principles, including authorization clearing settlement dispute handling fraud checks and regulatory requirements
• Apply knowledge of hybrid work environments and modern collaboration tools to coordinate effectively with cross functional teams during day shifts
• Provide practical experience designing and using restful services message based integrations and middleware solutions customized for financial transaction systems
• Use expertise in relational databases caching systems and transaction management techniques to enable high volume secure payment processing
• Demonstrate experience using version control continuous integration and automated build tools to sustain reliable delivery pipelines for payment applications
• Bring experience with performance monitoring tools logging frameworks and alerting practices that help maintain stability in cards and payments platforms
