Technical Content Writer

Required Skills

• Demonstrated excellence in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Proven technical writing expertise, including the ability to convert complex technical information into clear, concise, reader-friendly, and plagiarism-free documentation.
• Experience producing SEO-focused content, covering keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimization, metadata creation, and the creation of search-engine-friendly technical blogs, web pages, and product documentation.
• Strong understanding of technology and software applications, with the capability to develop technically accurate content.
• Ability to perform thorough web research to collect, verify, and validate technical information from credible sources.
• Experience working closely with developers, UI/UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders across the full product development lifecycle.
• Participation in design conversations, requirement gathering sessions, and documentation review meetings.
• Ensure documentation aligns with established writing styles, templates, branding guidelines, and documentation standards.
• Knowledge of technical writing best practices, including Single Sourcing, Minimalism, Structured Authoring, and Topic-Based Writing (DITA concepts).
• Capability to manage multiple documentation initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong proofreading, editing, and content quality assurance skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Business Analysis and documentation tools such as Balsamiq Cloud and Microsoft Visio.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC).
• Basic UI/UX design knowledge, with hands-on experience in Figma or Adobe XD.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using wireframing tools.
• Familiarity with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Confluence, Markdown, or Git.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO performance tracking tools is a plus.
• Exposure to AI-assisted content creation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) for content research and improving productivity.
