Sustainability Consultant

Job Overview:

• We invite qualified candidates to become a part of our Sustainability Practice Unit at Infosys.
• This position emphasizes achieving significant sustainability results through the utilization of data analytics, compliance reporting frameworks, and cutting-edge technologies.
• The successful applicant will possess a robust comprehension of sustainability principles, ESG frameworks, and the capability to design and implement scalable sustainability initiatives across various sectors.

Primary Duties:

• Collaborate with clients to define sustainability solutions, pinpoint relevant offerings, and develop proposals that align with their business goals.
• Create delivery strategies, establish team frameworks, and oversee comprehensive program execution for client projects.
• Identify sustainability value propositions customized to specific industry demands and client expectations.
• Perform industry research to evaluate problem statements, explore solution alternatives, and propose the most effective methodologies.
• Develop thorough requirements, user scenarios, and process documentation to assist in implementation alongside technical teams.
• Communicate business value through sustainability KPIs and facilitate solution demonstrations, proof of concepts, and workshops.
• Prepare effort estimates in accordance with client budgets and organizational financial policies.
• Lead and mentor consulting teams, providing subject matter expertise in sustainability, ESG reporting, and data management.

Technical Qualifications:

• Solid grasp of sustainability principles such as ESG reporting, sustainability data analysis, and sustainable supply chains.
• Familiarity with ESG frameworks and regulations, including CSRD, BRSR, GRI, and TCFD.
• Understanding of current industry trends, platforms, and tools within the sustainability landscape.
• Ability to evaluate existing processes, identify areas for enhancement, and propose technology-driven solutions.
• Exceptional analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, complemented by a collaborative approach.
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages, including Python.
• Comfortable with data management, visualization platforms, and the implementation of AI technologies for project delivery.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of concepts such as product carbon footprint, circular economy, life cycle assessment (LCA), sustainable manufacturing, and sustainable finance.
• Awareness of sustainability impacts throughout upstream and downstream value chains, including sustainable supply chain practices.
