Sr Commissioning Engineer - Electrical / Instrument

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sr Commissioning Engineer - Electrical / Instrument to become a valuable member of our team in India. The successful candidate will possess a wealth of experience in the commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial projects, ensuring that all installations meet specified requirements and function effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the commissioning processes for electrical and instrumentation systems in various industrial projects.
• Create and execute commissioning plans and procedures to guarantee alignment with project specifications and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely execution of commissioning activities.
• Perform system testing and inspections to confirm the operational efficiency and performance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any challenges encountered during the commissioning phase.
• Document commissioning activities meticulously, including test outcomes and comprehensive final reports.
• Offer training and assistance to operation and maintenance personnel regarding the installed systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems within industrial environments.
• In-depth understanding of electrical and instrumentation design principles, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Experience with a variety of instruments and control systems, such as PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentation schematics and drawings.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to commissioning tasks.
