Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Utilize monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, and New Relic to oversee the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Lead incident response efforts through troubleshooting and conducting thorough root cause analysis (RCA).
• Enhance system dependability, availability, and overall performance metrics.
• Automate operational workflows and tasks employing scripting languages including Python, Shell, Go, and PowerShell.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines through tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Provide support for cloud environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Establish and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLI), Service Level Objectives (SLO), and Service Level Agreements (SLA) metrics.
• Conduct capacity planning and perform performance tuning to meet organizational needs.
• Ensure security protocols, data backups, disaster recovery procedures, and compliance standards are maintained.
• Design and develop self-healing mechanisms and auto-remediation solutions for system issues.
• Collaborate with application development teams to improve system stability and reliability.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in DevOps practices, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and related technologies.

Preferred Skills:

Expertise in DevOps workflows and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies.
