Senior Software Engineer B2

Job Summary

We are seeking a Hybrid Sr Software Engineer B2 to design and deliver secure, scalable enterprise applications. This role leverages Core Java, Angular frameworks, and dot Net technologies to translate complex requirements into high-quality code. You will work in a day shift environment with cross-functional teams to enhance digital payment experiences and deliver reliable software outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design robust and scalable backend services using Core Java to handle high-volume transaction processing in enterprise environments

Build responsive and accessible single-page applications using Angular frameworks to deliver intuitive experiences for both business and consumer users

Develop secure and efficient API integrations between Java services and dot Net components to support reliable data exchange across platforms

Improve application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in Java and Angular code, applying tuning methods that enhance response times and resource usage

Create modular, reusable, and well-documented Angular components to accelerate future feature development and reduce maintenance effort

Use clean code practices and object-oriented design principles across Java and dot Net to strengthen maintainability, testability, and long-term system resilience

Perform detailed code reviews and share constructive technical feedback with peers to ensure compliance with coding standards and architectural guidance

Partner with product owners, architects, and quality specialists to refine requirements and convert them into clear technical solutions and implementation plans

Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and hybrid team ceremonies to maintain realistic commitments and provide transparent progress updates

Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests for Java, Angular, and dot Net modules to support continuous integration and reduce regression risk

Troubleshoot complex production problems by reviewing logs and metrics, then implement durable fixes to prevent recurrence and safeguard customer confidence

Strengthen secure coding practices by identifying vulnerabilities, applying remediation patterns, and aligning implementations with enterprise security policies

If assigned to cards and payments initiatives, design and enhance payment flows that improve authorization reliability and customer experience while meeting regulatory expectations

Qualifications

Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, including collections, multithreading, and enterprise integration patterns, developed through several years of progressive software engineering experience

Advanced Angular proficiency, including Angular JS and modern Angular versions up to recent releases, with a focus on modular architecture and state management

Practical experience with dot Net application development and integration, enabling effective collaboration across mixed technology stacks within large organizations

Familiarity with cards and payments domain concepts—such as transaction lifecycles, authorization flows, and settlement processes—is an added advantage

Proven ability to operate in hybrid delivery models, coordinating effectively with onsite and remote stakeholders through clear, timely communication

Solid understanding of secure coding, data protection, and compliance practices for financial-grade applications handling customer-sensitive information

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to resolve issues quickly while minimizing impact to critical business processes and digital experiences

Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer, along with any recognized Angular or web development certification
