Job Title :: QA Engineer (Salesforce Claims)

Location :: Bangalore or Gurugram (Hybrid - 2-3 days in a week onsite)

Minimum relevant experience :: 5 Years

Role Summary

• We are seeking an experienced QA Test Engineer with 5 – 7 years of experience, featuring solid Salesforce Claims functional knowledge and extensive, practical expertise across the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). This position owns end-to-end quality assurance, covering everything from requirements analysis and test planning to test execution, defect management, regression, release validation, and test closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities across the entire STLC, including requirement analysis, test planning, test design, execution, defect management, regression, release validation, and test closure.
• Review and interpret business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to define test scenarios, identify dependencies, detect coverage gaps, and assess quality risks.
• Create, execute, and validate functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end test coverage for Salesforce Claims applications.
• Verify key Claims lifecycle workflows, including claim intake/creation, assignment, assessment, reserves, payments, recoveries, and closure, as applicable.
• Test and validate Salesforce Lightning workflows, business rules, Flows, validation rules, profiles, roles, permissions, and related customizations.
• Conduct API and integration testing across Salesforce Claims and the connected upstream and downstream applications.
• Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test data, traceability, execution evidence, and test reporting.
• Handle defects end-to-end through logging, triage, root-cause analysis, retesting, and closure.
• Confirm sufficient regression coverage and perform release-readiness validation for application changes.
• Partner with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Automation Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, support defect triage, provide test-status updates, and participate in quality reviews.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Salesforce Claims functional knowledge with hands-on testing experience.
• Very strong hands-on experience across the complete STLC, from requirements analysis through test closure.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end Claims lifecycle and business workflows.
• Strong experience testing Salesforce Lightning applications.
• Strong background in test planning, test design, execution, defect management, regression, and test reporting.
• Strong knowledge of functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience validating Salesforce Flows, business rules, validation rules, profiles, roles, permissions, and customizations.
• Hands-on experience with API and integration testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Strong experience in defect triage, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, retesting, and closure.
• Experience in test-data preparation, requirements traceability, and managing test evidence.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and Quality Engineering practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

• SQL/database validation
• Experience optimizing large enterprise regression suites
