Job Description
- Qualified Lawyer with 9+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Proven experience handling the review, drafting, and negotiation of client-provided technology contracts, including:
- IT services agreements
- Outsourcing agreements
- Software licensing agreements
- Cloud agreements
- AI-related contracts
- Framework/MSA agreements
- Experience working on customer paper/client terms, rather than depending solely on standard company templates.
- Preferred experience as In-house Counsel within a multinational organization, or a reputable law firm with comparable commercial contracting exposure.
- Accountable for end-to-end legal support and deal closure, working closely with business stakeholders and relevant corporate functions.
- Member of the Commercial Contracting Legal Team, supporting Europe and South Africa, and reporting to the Head of Legal (Europe).
- Strong capability to spot contractual risks, propose practical solutions, and align legal risk with business goals to facilitate successful deal closures.
- Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills across internal teams and with clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-changing IT services environment, adapting to evolving business structures.
- Exposure to civil law is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Occasional international travel may be required.
