When you join Emerson, you’ll help deliver meaningful work, collaborate with talented colleagues worldwide, and shape the future of manufacturing excellence.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Establish and champion a strong safety culture centered on proactive risk identification, prevention, and ongoing continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety requirements, including electrostatic discharge (ESD), chemical handling, machine safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and workplace organization standards.
- Achieve quality performance objectives by applying effective process controls, leading root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with industry and quality management standards.
- Maintain high-performing manufacturing operations that support First Pass Yield (FPY), reduce defects, ensure product traceability, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Drive operational execution to meet production schedules, uphold on-time delivery commitments, achieve cycle time targets, and satisfy build-ahead requirements.
- Create contingency and recovery plans to reduce the effects of equipment, system, or manufacturing disruptions.
- Improve productivity by leveraging Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reducing waste, optimizing processes, and supporting cost management initiatives.
- Recognize, assess, and support capital investment opportunities that strengthen operational capability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Build, coach, and develop leaders and manufacturing teams to enhance organizational capability, engagement, and succession readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize workforce planning, support skill development, and manage resource allocation.
- Lead successful adoption and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), automation technologies, and digital manufacturing solutions.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and sustainable growth.
- Work with global and regional stakeholders to align manufacturing strategies with business goals and customer requirements.
- Use data and operational insights to enable well-informed decision-making and drive performance improvements.
