Senior Executive, Technical Accounting - Treaty Client Services

Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed treaty technical accounting duties, including calculations for contract adjustments. Resolve discrepancies between system data and contract language to ensure precision. Address inquiries from the processing team and external partners regarding invoice processing and calculations. Create and maintain working documents for data entry to support accurate invoice and statement generation. Assist in the creation and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for non-advocacy functions. Identify process challenges and suggest improvements to boost workflow efficiency and accuracy. Aid in delivering technical training for both onshore and offshore teams, covering processes and system utilization. Serve as the primary technical liaison for offshore colleagues on complex processes, providing clear direction. Oversee work quality and timely completion within the offshore team, collaboratively addressing any issues that arise. Partner with various internal teams to ensure precision in technical accounting and promote seamless operations. Keep stakeholders updated on work progress, challenges, and potential risks. Cultivate a strong collaborative environment within the team and across functions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in treaty reinsurance technical accounting. Comprehensive understanding of treaty reinsurance contracts and related operational processes, particularly technical premium calculations. Familiarity with reinsurance technical accounting systems or a strong desire to become a subject matter expert. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong documentation capabilities to clearly define processes while adhering to SOPs. Effective communication skills to succinctly convey technical ideas. Team-oriented approach with a focus on problem resolution. Proficient in Excel and adept at managing data and reconciliations.
