Senior Engineer - Technical Sales (Delhi)

Job Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with high-growth global accounts, EPCs, and process licensors through their Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India to drive adoption of Fisher control valve solutions across priority projects and opportunities.
• Work closely with Global Industry Sales, Global Project Pursuit teams, Emerson business units, and the India Sales organization to create and execute strategic account plans, enhance local support coverage, and accelerate growth within targeted global accounts.
• Collaborate with customers to develop, refine, and influence technical valve specifications, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to project requirements.
• Lead technical training sessions and marketing seminars for customers to support Fisher preference for both new and existing applications
• Engage in the earliest phases of project development to understand project direction, deliver technical support throughout the entire project lifecycle, and strengthen customer satisfaction through proactive engagement, timely resolution of issues, and effective relationship management
• Keep up with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the control valve market

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering.
• 5+ years work experience as a sales/application engineer
• Excellent knowledge of Fisher products and solutions
• Experience with control valve sizing and selection
• Understanding of customer specifications and how to influence using Fisher technology
• Experience working in teams
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend internal and customer events
  
  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Working knowledge of EPC, OEM, Global Endusers and process licensors
• Strong presentation / technology demonstration skills
• Strong knowledge of strategic account management, the project pursuit lifecycle, and effective customer engagement strategies across all stages of project development and execution
