About the Client:

This position sits within the technology and operations division of our premier banking client. The division delivers software and system development, IT support services, and core banking operations across multiple international markets. The team maintains a secure, standardised, yet flexible global banking infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, process improvement, automation, and ensuring smooth financial service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business unit specialists to gather, evaluate, and confirm data and business requirements. Conduct impact assessments and review 'to-be' operational processes.
• Convert intricate data needs into clear functional specifications for System Analysts, maintaining full end-to-end traceability.
• Manage data mapping activities, transformation rules, and data validation procedures to support reliable, high-quality data integration.
• Examine test plans, assist SIT and UAT cycles, and coordinate defect prioritisation, tracking, and resolution.
• Track project scope, handle project change requests, manage risks, and coordinate delivery between business and technology teams.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of business analysis experience, with a proven ability to deliver data-related initiatives.
• Strong SQL skills, including practical experience with data profiling, validation, and data mapping/transformation.
• Sound knowledge of relational database structures and data architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including Macros), SharePoint, and JIRA.
• Strong understanding of change management principles and SDLC project management fundamentals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
