Senior Consultant

Job Overview:

• Domain Consulting Group (DCG) provides expert business and domain leadership, tackling client challenges and collaborating with them on their digital transformation journey.
• We are assembling a team of professionals with experience in Business Consulting Advisory, Domain Consulting, or Industry practices to support our global clientele. This role will involve leading a group of consultants to implement consulting projects and deliver domain expertise in Technology initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in client projects, often involving large-scale transformational IT programs, either as an individual contributor or by leading junior consultants.
• Collaborate with client business and IT teams, as well as internal Infosys stakeholders, throughout all stages of an IT program, including interfacing with third-party legacy systems from planning to solution proposal and implementation.
• Proven experience in Business Process Consulting.
• Expertise in problem definition, case and workflow design, process detailing, and process modeling.
• Facilitate business workshops to identify requirements and develop functional specifications for IT solutions.
• Craft Business User Stories and Use Cases, lead Functional Architecture, re-engineer process models, and integrate various services for comprehensive solution delivery.
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to analyze prioritized user stories and define the scope of sprints.
• Possess knowledge of interface integration technologies and a solid understanding of customer needs to accurately translate them into requirements.
• Partner with the Infosys sales team to drive or support business functional content in client engagements.
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by creating Points of View, Whitepapers, and other relevant materials.
• Take ownership of specific sections of proposal documents and provide input on solution design based on your areas of expertise.
• Plan configuration activities, set up the product according to design specifications, conduct conference room pilots, and address any queries related to requirements and solution design.
• Lead solution product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (POC) sessions, and prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budget requirements and organizational financial guidelines.
• Actively manage small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to customers.

Technical Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of software configuration management systems.
• Awareness of current technologies and industry trends.
• Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong collaboration skills.
• Comprehension of financial processes across various project types and the different pricing models available.
• Ability to evaluate current processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose relevant technology solutions.
• Knowledge of one or two industry domains.
• Strong client interfacing skills.
• Experience in project and team management.
