Your Role And Responsibilities

In the capacity of a Security Consultant with a focus on Intelligence & Operations, you will play an essential role in guiding Client IT teams to recognize and tackle critical security challenges, vulnerabilities, and exposures. Your proficiency in security intelligence and operations will empower you to convey effective security strategies and mitigation approaches.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Craft Security Strategies: Utilize security principles, counter-threat intelligence, and expertise in security intelligence and operations to formulate and propose robust security strategies, programs, plans, and mitigation measures.
• Strengthen Security Posture: Implement proactive threat hunting and intelligence-driven defense techniques to bolster Client IT's security posture.
• Communicate IBM's SIOC and SIEM: Effectively convey IBM's perspectives on the Security Intelligence and Operations Center (SIOC) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), including financial considerations.
• Utilize Threat Intelligence: Leverage practical experience with tools such as QRadar to assess and counter various cyber threats.
• Partner with Clients: Collaborate closely with Client IT to comprehend their security requirements and provide customized security solutions.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Security Intelligence Acumen: Familiarity with security intelligence and operations, encompassing security principles and counter-threat intelligence, to devise effective security strategies and mitigation measures.
• Threat Analysis Proficiency: Practical experience with tools like QRadar for analyzing and mitigating a range of cyber threats.
• Security Strategy Formulation: Background in developing security strategies, programs, plans, and mitigation measures to confront significant security challenges and vulnerabilities.
• Enhancement of Security Posture: Understanding of proactive threat hunting and intelligence-driven defense methodologies aimed at improving security posture.
