SAP TM Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience a typical day as an Infoscion.
• In your role within the Infosys consulting team, you will primarily lead the engagement efforts to deliver high-quality, value-driven consulting solutions to clients at various stages, from problem identification to diagnosis, solution design, development, and deployment.
• You will evaluate proposals created by consultants, offering guidance and analyzing the solutions put forth for client business challenges to identify potential risks and concerns.
• Your responsibilities will include identifying change management needs and proposing a structured approach to assist clients in managing transitions through diverse communication strategies.
• Additionally, you will mentor and establish a vision for the team, providing subject matter training in your areas of expertise, while motivating and inspiring team members through timely feedback and recognition for exemplary performance.
• You will play a pivotal role in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added consulting solutions to clients, adhering to the organization’s guidelines and processes.

Technical Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing SAP TM technical services for implementation support and upgrade projects is required.
• Strong understanding of OOPS concepts, BOPF Architecture, BRF Plus, PPF, FPM, POWL, and FBI, along with standard ABAP best practices is essential.
• Cross-integration knowledge with SAP EM ERP is necessary.
• Experience with TM integration involving PI, EDI, and third-party systems is a must.
• Proficiency in developing and modifying code in line with project standards within designated timeframes is required.
• You should be capable of creating OSS messages for standard issues and collaborating with Basis SAP and functional teams to achieve resolutions.
• Familiarity with release management processes to track and manage transport movements from Development to Production systems, ensuring proper sequencing and dependencies, is important.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Solid understanding of software configuration management systems is preferred.
• Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, and cross-industry thought leadership are beneficial.
• Awareness of current technologies and industry trends is advantageous.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a collaborative mindset, are essential.
• Knowledge of two or three industry domains is desired.
• Understanding of financial processes for various project types and familiarity with available pricing models is important.
• Effective client interfacing skills are required.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is essential.
• Experience in project and team management is expected.
