Job Overview
Position Title: Senior Solution Consultant - SAP PLM
Overview: We are on the lookout for a seasoned SAP PLM Consultant with 10 to 15 years of experience to become a vital part of our Truck Master Solution Center. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in the SAP Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) module, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of business operations and the capacity to convert business needs into effective system solutions.
Core Responsibilities
Oversee SAP PLM design, configuration, testing, and deployment initiatives
Evaluate business requirements and convert them into functional specifications for SAP PLM
Facilitate end-to-end product development and lifecycle processes, encompassing engineering change management, document management, BOM management, and variant configuration
Familiarity with the PLMSI component in S4 for integrating external PLM data
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance product data management and operational efficiency
Connect SAP PLM with relevant SAP modules, including SAP MM, PP, SD, and QM
Assist with data migration, system enhancements, and resolution of production issues
Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to collect requirements and validate solutions
Ensure that solutions comply with automotive industry standards and best practices
Develop documentation, training resources, and user support materials
Guide junior team members and engage in knowledge sharing within the team
Essential Qualifications
8 to 10 years of experience in SAP PLM consulting or implementation
Solid hands-on expertise with SAP PLM processes and configuration
Experience within the automotive sector or a manufacturing setting
Strong grasp of engineering and product development workflows
Knowledge of BOM, document management, change management, and material master integration
Experience with SAP integration across various functional modules
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and work autonomously in a dynamic environment
