SAP ISU DM Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience a typical day as an Infoscion.
• Act as a reliable consultant for utility clients, providing expertise in SAP IS U Device Management, Meter Reading, AMI Smart Metering, and Meter to Cash transformation solutions.
• Engage with business stakeholders and IT teams to develop and deploy scalable SAP IS U Device Management solutions.
• Oversee the gathering of requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support tasks.
• Configure and manage device lifecycle processes, which include installation, replacement, removal, exchange, certification, and retirement.
• Assist in Smart Metering initiatives, including AMI, NEM, NBT, DER, and bi-directional metering.
• Collaborate closely with teams specializing in SAP IS U CS Billing, Meter Reading, FI, CA, MDM, EDM, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BTP.
• Facilitate SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go Live, Hypercare, and post-production stabilization efforts.
• Promote process optimization, automation, and initiatives aimed at utility modernization.
• Engage in client workshops, solution demonstrations, and business development initiatives.
• Keep abreast of innovations in SAP S/4HANA Utilities, UC4G, Smart Grid, AMI, IoT, and SAP BTP.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficient understanding of Technical Master Data, including Device Categories, Device Info Records, Register Groups, and Installation Structures.
• Experience with Device Installation, Removal, Replacement, Exchange, Certification, and Meter Inventory Management.
• Technical expertise in BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, BRF, Workflow Configuration, and BPEM.
• Ability to optimize performance and coordinate with ABAP development teams.
• Integration experience with SAP IS U Customer Service (CS), Meter Reading (MR), Billing and Invoicing, SAP FI, CA, MDM, EDM, SAP S/4HANA Utilities, SAP Asset Management (EAM), PM, SAP BTP, and SAP Integration Suite, including AMI Platforms, HES, APIs, and Cloud Integrations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP IS U Device Management, covering implementation, enhancement, rollout, migration, and support projects.
• Experience in Electricity, Gas, Water, and Multi-Utility environments.
• Familiarity with Smart Grid, AMI, IoT, and Renewable Energy Programs.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and AI-enabled utility solutions.
• Agile Scrum delivery experience along with strong stakeholder and client management capabilities.
