SAP BASIS S/4 HANA Administration

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the administration, optimization, and smooth operation of SAP environments hosted on Azure, including planning and executing upgrades. The Lead Administrator will apply deep experience in SAP Basis Administration, SAP S/4HANA, and the Azure Public Cloud to implement reliable solutions. This role requires a hybrid work model with day shift hours and no travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee SAP systems hosted on Azure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and support for business-critical operations.
• Deliver technical expertise in SAP Basis Administration, including NetWeaver ABAP and JAVA, to preserve system integrity and functionality.
• Carry out SAP Technical Upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime and seamless organizational transitions.
• Administer SAP S/4HANA systems to support efficient operations and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Implement and manage SAP BTP Administration to enable innovative business processes and cloud-based solutions.
• Perform SAP HANA DB Administration tasks, focusing on database performance, security, and scalability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP systems with Supply Chain Management and Multi-Channel domains to improve operational efficiency.
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot system issues to ensure timely resolution and minimize business impact.
• Create and maintain documentation for SAP systems, including configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Provide direction and support to team members to strengthen collaboration and encourage knowledge-sharing.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry standards for SAP systems and Azure cloud environments.
• Continuously monitor and fine-tune systems to optimize resource utilization and maintain strong performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in SAP and Azure, applying them to enhance system capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in SAP Basis Administration, including NetWeaver ABAP and JAVA, demonstrated through managing complex systems.
• Strong proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Administration, ensuring reliable day-to-day operations and successful system upgrades.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Azure Public Cloud Administration, including experience hosting and managing SAP systems on Azure.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Technical Upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP Administration to support innovative cloud-based solutions.
• Skills in SAP HANA DB Administration, focused on database performance, security, and scalability.
• Nice to have domain experience in Supply Chain Management and Multi-Channel to support business process optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
