Job Description: BI & Data Platform Engineer / Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a BI & Data Platform Engineer / Lead to oversee and support enterprise BI and data platforms. The role focuses on ensuring day-to-day platform operations, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and driving continuous improvements to platform capabilities.

Required Skills

• SAP BusinessObjects: Administration, user access, report scheduling, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Power BI: Tenant, workspace, gateway, refresh schedule and access management.
• Snowflake: Platform administration, deployment, workload monitoring, RBAC and troubleshooting.
• Azure: Working knowledge of Azure Synapse and Storage Accounts.
• IICS: Deployment, configuration changes and production support.
• Terraform & CI/CD: Exposure to automation, deployment processes and CI/CD pipeline monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and platform administration skills.
• Experience with platform monitoring, security, performance optimization and production support.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain BI and data platforms.
• Monitor platform health and resolve operational issues.
• Support deployments, configuration changes and automated code/RBAC deployments.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with business, infrastructure, security and data engineering teams.
• Take ownership of platform improvements and maintain technical documentation.
