The Automation Test Engineer will collaborate closely with product team members to ensure that the developed products and features adhere to established high-quality standards. This role will engage throughout the software development life cycle, with a primary focus on quality assurance during both development and deployment, particularly in the area of test automation development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate requirements and develop corresponding test scripts.
- Execute test scripts while logging and verifying software defects.
- Adhere to processes and coding standards established within the QA team.
- Oversee the outcomes of automation test scheduler jobs and perform maintenance activities on existing scripts to enhance test coverage.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in QA Automation, BDD frameworks, POM, Selenium with SPECFLOW, UI and API Testing, PostMan, Swagger, and SQL Server.
- Demonstrated experience in developing automated tests utilizing frameworks and tools like Selenium and Cucumber, along with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A collaborative team player with a keen attention to detail and a solid understanding of computer programming and software development.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
