Project Manager - Medical Devices

Job Overview:

• Bachelor's degree is essential, ideally in Engineering or Project Management
• A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in managing the development and maintenance of medical device products
• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in project management
• PMP certification is required
• The candidate must be adept at engaging with all levels within the organization as well as with external clients
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to foster relationships within project teams
• Experience with Software Systems SUD technology in the medical device sector is necessary
• Preference will be given to candidates with software project management experience
• A solid understanding of current software cybersecurity external standards is required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee project management and product life cycle management of medical device products, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards
• Guarantee customer satisfaction through timely and high-quality deliveries
• Manage all project phases from initial definition through clinical evaluation and/or launch
• Establish team operational objectives, develop timelines, and create budgets necessary for goal achievement
• Determine task prioritization across various project workstreams and assign ownership
• Effectively navigate the challenges associated with technology and new therapy development within the realm of medical advancements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams globally, including R&D, DA, PD, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Quality
• Manage team and cross-functional communications, acting as a liaison between the project team and senior leadership, and lead phase and business reviews as well as project core team meetings
• Oversee project budget and resource management, ensuring accuracy and responsibility while facilitating budget and resource estimations as needed

Technical Qualifications:

• PMP Certification
• Expertise in Project Management within the Medical Devices sector
