Project Engineer - Level Instrumentation

Job Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Review and evaluate customer Level Instrumentation RFQs and project bid packages to fully understand technical and commercial requirements, then create high-quality techno-commercial proposals.
• Support the technical assessment of level buyouts (including chambers, etc.) and coordinate with third-party vendors as needed to ensure complete alignment with customer specifications and quality standards.
• Participate in technical clarification calls to help close out TQs.
• Recognize special application requirements, buyout needs, or factory support requirements early during the proposal phase.
• Coordinate with the Level Product Company (RTR – Rosemount Tank Radar, Sweden) to provide engineered to order solutions and specialized application support.
• Follow up on escalated technical issues to ensure they are resolved within required timelines.
• Communicate technical challenges and application learnings to product teams and internal stakeholders.
• Carry out instrument sizing, model selection, and accurate, timely entry of quote proposals into business systems.
• Convert customer project documentation and specifications into clear, quotable line items.
• Produce engineering specifications that align with the customer’s measurement and application requirements.
• Develop and submit full formal proposal packages, ensuring compliance with technical deviations, lead-time, and budget constraints.
• Adhere to project bid submission processes and maintain high standards across all proposal deliverables.
• Attend internal project execution meetings to remain aligned with customer requirements and key project milestones.
  
  

Who You Are:

You are a proactive, technically capable professional who takes ownership, adapts quickly to challenges, and communicates effectively across organizations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• 5+ years of experience in core instrumentation within the Process Industry, EPCs, or OEMs.
• Strong knowledge of level measurement technologies, including radar and guided wave radar.
• Understanding of instrument specifications, hazardous area standards, and IP ratings.
• Familiarity with installation, commissioning, and calibration of instruments.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering is a must; a master's degree will be an advantage.
• Middle East & Africa proposal and project support experience is highly preferred.
