Process Engineer (Textile)

Essential Duties:

• The Textile Process Engineer will oversee all activities related to the production of carbon disks and the industrialization of manufacturing processes, specifically focusing on Composite and Textile Reinforcement.
• Develop and uphold comprehensive manufacturing process sequences and technical documents to ensure compliance, efficiency, and clarity in production.
• Utilize Safran problem-solving tools (e.g., Ishikawa method, Six Sigma methodology) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Offer technical support and guidance to the team as well as Operations/Maintenance, which includes the creation of Operating Documents, Work Instructions, and updates on Special Manufacturing Requests.
• Engage in the material review board (MRB) to validate non-conformances and determine appropriate dispositions and containment strategies.
• Contribute to PFMEA, Risk Analysis, and Problem Solving efforts, while supporting cross-functional departments in identifying and addressing critical technical challenges.
• Conduct qualification runs and First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Initiate and spearhead process and equipment enhancement projects, demonstrating proficiency in procurement processes and coordinating with vendors for effective project execution.
• Adhere to the Group's Code of Conduct, including Ethics and Business policies, as well as 5S and Safety protocols, in addition to meeting all relevant customer standards.
• Actively participate in occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental policies, including Energy procedures and initiatives such as I-See I-Act, GPI, and low carbon projects.
• Comply with Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption measures, Flight Safety Management Systems, and other pertinent policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Perform additional related tasks as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of Mechanics of Materials and principles of Factory 4.0.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in technical fields, particularly in developing new processes or manufacturing.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Statistical Analysis tools like Minitab, Power BI, and data mining techniques.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Supply Chain management, AS9100, ISO-9001, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement methodologies in relation to Factory 4.0 is advantageous.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is a plus.
