Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Package Specialist: Workday Testing, you will help clients strategize, plan, govern, and execute testing for Workday and related SaaS deployments. You’ll apply your consulting experience, business expertise, and packaged solution knowledge to support client teams in delivering the expected business results.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Test Planning and Execution: Conduct test planning, perform testing, and triage defects to maintain the quality of delivered work products.
• Client Collaboration: Partner with client teams and the Workday Deployment and Support team to collect requirements, configure, conduct unit testing, and manage releases.
• Test Management: Set up and use test management tools and test automation tools, including both proprietary and open-source options, to support testing efforts.
• Solution Delivery: Use knowledge of HCM processes and Workday functional capabilities to provide high-quality solutions aligned to client requirements.
• Defect Resolution: Work with relevant teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring issues are handled in a timely and effective manner.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Workday Testing: Experience testing Workday and aligned SaaS deployments, including test planning, testing, and defect triage.
• HCM Process Knowledge: Familiarity with HCM processes, including experience in one or more specializations such as Workday functional skills in the HCM domain.
• Test Management Tools: Experience establishing and using test management tools and test automation tools, both proprietary and open-source.
• Workday Functional Skills: Experience with Workday functional skills in the HCM domain, with certification preferred.
• Client Requirements Analysis: Experience collaborating with client teams to gather requirements, configure, conduct unit testing, and manage releases.

• Workday Certification: Holding a Workday certification is beneficial for this role and reflects expertise in Workday functional skills in the HCM domain.
• Specialized HCM Knowledge: Experience in one or more HCM process specializations, such as Workday functional skills in the HCM domain, is advantageous for delivering high-quality solutions.
• Proprietary Test Tools: Experience with proprietary test management and automation tools can be beneficial for supporting testing activities.
