Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP HANA Application Security, you will help deliver SAP HANA Security implementation and production support. Using your business knowledge and packaged solution expertise, you will safeguard sensitive data against unauthorized access. You will partner with clients to understand their security requirements and provide informed guidance based on SAP HANA application security best practices.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Implement Secure Architectures: Design and implement secure SAP HANA architectures, including data encryption and access controls, to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
• Conduct Security Assessments: Carry out security assessments and risk analyses for SAP HANA applications to uncover possible vulnerabilities and reduce security risks.
• Configure Security Features: Configure and fine-tune SAP HANA security capabilities, including authentication, authorization, and auditing, to defend against threats.
• Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to capture security requirements and deliver expert guidance on SAP HANA application security best practices.
• Maintain Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation and a knowledge base to remain current on the latest SAP HANA security capabilities, industry trends, and best practices.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to SAP HANA Security: Familiarity with implementing and supporting secure SAP HANA applications, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
• Secure Coding Practices: Experience applying secure coding practices and configuring SAP HANA security features to protect against threats.
• Data Protection: Exposure to data masking and anonymization techniques to protect sensitive data within SAP HANA applications.
• Security Assessment and Risk Analysis: Experience conducting security assessments and risk analyses for SAP HANA applications to identify potential vulnerabilities and mitigate security risks.
• SAP HANA Security Configuration: Familiarity with configuring and optimizing SAP HANA security features, including authentication, authorization, and auditing.
