Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP HANA Application Security, you will contribute to both the implementation and production support of SAP HANA Security. Using your business expertise and packaged solution knowledge, you will help safeguard sensitive data against unauthorized access. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their security requirements and deliver informed guidance on SAP HANA application security best practices.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Implement Secure Architectures: Design and implement secure SAP HANA architectures, including data encryption and access controls, to support the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
• Conduct Security Assessments: Carry out security assessments and risk analyses for SAP HANA applications to uncover potential vulnerabilities and reduce security risks.
• Configure Security Features: Configure and enhance SAP HANA security capabilities, including authentication, authorization, and auditing, to defend against threats.
• Collaborate with Clients: Partner with clients to collect security requirements and provide expert recommendations aligned with SAP HANA application security best practices.
• Maintain Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation and a knowledge base to remain current on the latest SAP HANA security features, trends, and best practices.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to SAP HANA Security: Knowledge of implementing and supporting secure SAP HANA applications, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
• Secure Coding Practices: Experience applying secure coding practices and configuring SAP HANA security features to defend against threats.
• Data Protection: Exposure to data masking and anonymization techniques to safeguard sensitive data within SAP HANA applications.
• Security Assessment and Risk Analysis: Experience conducting security assessments and risk analyses for SAP HANA applications to identify potential vulnerabilities and mitigate security risks.
• SAP HANA Security Configuration: Familiarity with configuring and optimizing SAP HANA security features, including authentication, authorization, and auditing.
