operations and maintenance engineer (asset management)

Overview

We’re seeking driven professionals to join our operations and maintenance (O&M) team supporting a portfolio of projects.

The O&M specialist team plays a vital role in identifying value propositions, assisting with bids, and delivering projects from the Global Technology Center. The position requires close coordination with O&M leadership teams, Client teams, and resource managers to ensure timely support for colleagues across O&M projects spanning multiple markets and regions. This role is well-suited to candidates with an operations and maintenance background and a strong understanding of life cycle management activities in O&M projects.

Your Role

• Experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment and optimizing performance throughout the service life.
• Working knowledge of safety management and risk management systems related to operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of reliability-based maintenance and experience delivering projects involving FRACAS, FMECA, etc.
• Experience developing maintenance strategies and implementing plans to improve efficiency while ensuring safety and reliability and reducing downtime.
• Experience delivering asset management projects and understanding international standards such as ISO 55000 and other international standards.
• Ability to develop repair and maintenance manuals for individual assets and ensure system-level performance across infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of O&M financial planning activities and intervention strategy plans for assets is an added advantage.
• Experience using facility management software and maintenance management software.
  
  

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• 10–12 years of experience in operations and maintenance across original equipment manufacturers, asset-intensive organizations, and commuter operating organizations or in a consultancy environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office projects and Asset Invest planning or risk management will be an added advantage.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple frameworks and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
