Network Engineer

• This position is tasked with guaranteeing the availability, performance, security, and reliability of LAN, WAN, and wireless networks that facilitate business operations.
• The successful applicant will possess excellent troubleshooting abilities, hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, and a strong commitment to maintaining stable and secure IT environments.
• Core Responsibilities
• Administer, monitor, and manage the enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless networks, and associated network services.
• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking challenges throughout the corporate landscape.
• Provide support for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and internet connectivity services to ensure seamless business operations.
• Implement and uphold routing and switching configurations in compliance with organizational standards.
• Monitor network performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively suggest enhancements.
• Investigate and resolve network incidents, outages, and service degradations within established SLAs.
• Execute network upgrades, firmware updates, patches, and configuration backups.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, including Service Desk, Systems Administration, Security, and Cloud Infrastructure teams.
• Engage in infrastructure projects, network expansion initiatives, and technology refresh programs.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, security protocols, and audit requirements.
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Communication, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration, network operations, or network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.

• Exposure to ITIL-based service management environments.
• CCNA Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
